Kevlar Reinforcement

A tough, lightweight fiber that can bend further than any other reinforcement.

Lightweight & Impact Resistant

Extremely durable and impact resistant, Kevlar can withstand repeated shock and sudden impacts.
Kevlar is used in wide variety of applications, including body armor and bullet proofing. Add Kevlar reinforcement to your Nylon or Onyx parts to create durable parts with excellent impact resistance. Parts reinforced with Kevlar are typically stronger than machined parts at roughly half the price.

High Impact Resistance

Kevlar parts are 8x more impact resistant than ABS parts.

Add Kevlar Reinforcement

Print parts with an exterior base material and add Kevlar reinforcement.

Advantages Of Kevlar

Impact Resistant

Kevlar is as stiff as Fiberglass, but durable enough to withstand repeated and sudden loads. It’s a great material to strengthen a wide variety of parts.

High Durability

Print durable parts that are 12x more rigid than ABS and 30x more than Nylon. Kevlar parts are also 3x stronger than ABS and 6x stronger than Nylon.

Lightweight

Kevlar is 15-20% lighter than our other fiber reinforcements. It’s great for a variety of applications, ranging from prototyping to production parts.
