Onyx
A stiffer blend of Nylon chopped with Carbon Fiber. Onyx is a strong, dimensionally stable thermoplastic with an excellent surface finish that is heat and chemically resistant.
40% Stiffer Than ABS Plastic
Print performance parts on demand with Onyx.
Onyx is a Nylon based thermoplastic with chopped carbon fiber blended in. Onyx can be printed on it’s own or reinforced with one of our continuous fibers to provide strength comparable to Aluminum. Use Onyx material for anything from tooling and fixtures, to end-use production parts.

Industrial Strength
Onyx has a higher flexural strength, which makes it a great material for industrial applications that require added strength and stiffness.
High Heat Deflection
With a high deflection temperature of 293º F (145º C), Onyx is the perfect material for strong parts that need to withstand high temp conditions.
Fiber Reinforcement
We can increase the mechanical properties of Onyx parts by adding a continuous fiber reinforcement to strengthen specific infill areas.
